Our
class is reading "Stink and the
World's Worst Super-Stinky Sneakers"
by Megan McDonald. In the book,
Stink judges a Stinky Sneaker
Contest so we decided to have our
own contest. We had 15 sneakers
enter our contest. The results were
very stinky!
New
Year's Resolutions
Students wrote a New Year's
Resolution. They choose something
that they wanted to change or make
better for next year. They also
illustrated their resolution.
Christmas
Elves
Students created their elves for
Christmas then posed with them. They
did a wonderful job.
Beginning, Middle, and End Books
Students created their own books
using beginning, middle, and end to
tell the story. Most of the stories
we realistic fiction or nonfiction.
"The
Classroom at the End of the Hall"
Trading Card
Students picked their favorite
character from "The Classroom at the
End of the Hall" by Douglas Evans
and created a Trading Card.
Island Map Project
Students created maps with a title,
a compass rose, a map key, and at
least 5 symbols used on the map.
